Culligan soft water in steam irons

Softened water and hard water are both to be avoided in a steam iron. Distilled water, or water treated by Reverse Osmosis (RO) should be used. Remember that softening water does not remove the minerals, it only exchanges calcium and magnesium for sodium.

For long life and trouble free use, use Reverse Osmosis (RO) water with your steam iron.
